Arsenal kicked off their Premier League season in style with a commanding 2-0 win over Wolves at the Emirates Stadium.
Kai Havertz got the Gunners on the board in the first half, heading in a perfect cross from Bukayo Saka. Saka doubled the lead after the break, smashing a powerful left-footed shot into the corner after Wolves were caught napping on a quick free-kick.
While Arsenal didn't hit top form, they controlled the game and fully deserved the victory. Wolves debutant Jorgen Strand Larsen saw his first-half header well saved by David Raya, while substitute Matheus Cunha missed a golden chance to equalize with a weak effort straight at the Arsenal keeper.
