Manchester United aims to capitalize on Mason Greenwood this summer, as Fabrizio Romano reveals the club's final decision on the striker.
The 22-year-old, currently on loan at La Liga's Getafe, faced allegations of attempted rape and assault. However, the Crown Prosecution Service dropped the case in February last year.
In February, Man Utd co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe stated that a new verdict on Greenwood would be made this summer following the transfer of football operations control to INEOS at Old Trafford.
Last year, reports suggested that Man Utd intended to retain Greenwood after an internal investigation, sparking public outrage.
Ratcliffe acknowledged that a decision would need to be made upon Greenwood's return, but stressed earlier this year that no final decisions had been reached.
According to Romano's column on Caught Offside, Man Utd is prepared to sell Greenwood this summer instead of loaning him out for another season.
The club prioritizes a permanent transfer to generate profit for Financial Fair Play, although Getafe remains interested in securing him on loan.
